‘‘ I am a coffee grower from Totoro, Cauca. I’m 30 years old, Agricultural Engineer, from a very young age my father taught me how to grow and harvest coffee, that tradition is conserved by our family. For us, coffee represents the unbreakable bond that unites us as a family, the challenge of always doing our best effort, and the opportunity to get ahead

I live in the village of Buenavista, and I am part of the Paniquita indigenous reservation. As a woman and indigenous leader, I am working with my community to find an association of coffee growers because only united we can get ahead. My dream is to consolidate this association to be able to sell the coffee that my reservation produces without intermediaries. I am convinced that this will bring well-being and development to my community.” - Katherine

From this lovely family run coffee farm we chose naturally processed Castillo varietal, because we loved its flavour profile: Castillo coffee has medium to full body with unique flavour profile that includes hints of toffee and dark chocolate, as well as a touch of dried cranberry with bright and balanced citrusy acidity.
