The Nyakizu washing station was built in 2012. The region is known for its great potential in coffee production. A gentle, humid breeze blows through the valley, which is great companion for all the coffee processing plants in the region.
In this high - altitude region, the farms are scattered at an altitude between 1750 and 2100 metres above sea level and the only coffee variety grown there is the Arabica variety Red Bourbon.
This coffee was picked by us for its gorgeous clean profile, complimented by the orange blossom and black tea tasting notes at the forefront. This coffee is best brewed using a V60, Aeropress or Cafetiere.
